This high-efficiency Pure Water simplex water softener, with a 300,000 grain capacity, uses a conventional cation exchange process. It features the Watts LOCKSMITH control valve and is suitable for point-of-use or point-of-entry applications. The system includes a 24-inch diameter mineral tank, 10 cubic feet of high-capacity ion exchange resin, and a peak flow rate of up to 94 gallons per minute. It has 2-inch FNPT inlet and outlet connections and a 1-inch MNPT drain connection. This unit exchanges scale-forming calcium and magnesium ions with non-scale-forming sodium ions to produce soft water for various applications. The system comes with NSF and ANSI certified components, including a corrosion-resistant brass control valve that is highly configurable and easy to maintain. It is operated by an electronic controller that stores operational history and is metered demand-initiated, saving time, water, and salt.
